On being asked what happened, the driver said: "I hit a wood two stages ago." 16 Peratikos Rear valance missing at start of SS17. Driver says it fell off in SS15. 23 Nicolaou The turbo problem is not, after all, solved (see Rally News 13 and 14), but the crew does not seem concerned. 25 Reininger The steering column was successfully repaired by welding at Limassol Service (see Rally. News 13) 37 Tricomitis Car still losing oil (see Rally News 13) but mechanics say he should get to the finish as long as he doesn't over-rev the engine. 51 Kardanas The engine management system is playing up and adversely affecting the injection. Driver says it's too late to bother about it now.
